Chief Executive Officer

Vision Media is a powerful multi-media company delivering marketing content and collateral direct to key audiences.  With a rich tradition in the entertainment industry, Vision Media specializes in physical and digital media, displays and events.  Clients turn to Vision Media as their primary partner for awards campaign execution  – Vision Media is one of the few companies in the business authorized to manage guild membership lists and outreach. Vision Media is led by Michelle Ross – Chief Executive Officer – who is responsible for navigating the company’s growth strategy in an unprecedented time when consumer demand is driving new and innovative ways to distribute creative content.  Vision Media serves as the back office, warehouse and conduit to help publicity, distribution and marketing departments execute on campaigns, digital initiatives and consumer-based projects. As CEO of Vision Media, Michelle works directly with the company’s investors, AB, Private Credit Investors, to drive the company’s financial, operational and commercial success.

Tim Shanahan

Chief Financial Officer

Tim and his team are responsible for providing timely, accurate and transparent information about the past, present and future financial condition of the company to internal and external stakeholders. Tim is also ultimately responsible for the treasury, economic analysis and strategy activities that lay the foundation for Vision Media’s growth and financial stability.

When not building financial models for Vision Media, Tim can be found indulging his passion for anything with wheels and a motor. Whether it be tinkering with one of his Harleys or scanning craigslist for Jeep parts in preparation for a grand overland adventure, as a native Detroiter and former automotive engineer, Tim remains drawn to all forms of locomotion.

Jason Deadrich

Chief Technology Officer

Jason Deadrich is a digital media leader who spent decades working with interactive entertainment technologies.  With experience ranging from gaming software to Internet operations specializing in digitally protected video, Jason has played vital roles in the business and technology development and management of VOD models, mobile and streaming media services.  As Chief Technology Officer of Vision Media, Jason is responsible for navigating the company’s technology and product roadmap.  Before joining Vision Media, Jason founded a cloud-based company providing global, high-security delivery of digital assets for movie studios.

Michael Holmes

Chief Growth Officer

Michael Holmes is a seasoned global marketing and strategy executive with nearly 3 decades of experience in strategic marketing and promotions, international business development, CRM strategy, loyalty marketing and strategic alliance development, with an emphasis in the entertainment space.  Michael leads Vision Media’s Sales and Strategy teams that are growing the company’s market share in the continually evolving entertainment space.  Michael is a co-founder of Cinema Scene Marketing, which was acquired by Vision Media in 2016.  He continues to lead Vision Media’s consumer facing digital media and advertising network and digital signage brand targeting opportunities outside of the Cinema channel.

In his free time, Michael likes to spend time with his wife and two daughters, and watch or read anything created by John Hughes, Aaron Sorkin and Cameron Crowe.

Nazy Azbi

EVP, Client Partnerships & Marketing

Nazy leads Vision Media’s Client Partnerships and Marketing efforts to deliver exceptional service and proactive solutions to over 280 clients. She is also responsible for Vision Media’s overall brand, product launches and B2B marketing.

Nazy leads a team of diverse, creative and experienced employees that work as an extension of our clients’ teams. With over 40 team members in Creative Services, Fulfillment, Experiential and Content Management, she sets the bar high to ensure Vision Media executes and amplifies our clients’ brand and messaging to audiences around the world. Her philosophy when engaging with clients: Listen first, be transparent, think proactive and deliver creative solutions.

With over two decades of experience in distribution and global marketing, Nazy previously worked at Dolby Laboratories and was responsible for launching integrated global campaigns for their audio and imaging technology products to consumers and business partners. She also consulted with Focus Features to market films such as Phantom ThreadDarkest Hour and Mary Queen of Scots. Previously, she managed marketing distribution teams at Deluxe and Technicolor.

She has a passion for traveling the world and exploring new cities.  She has traveled to over 30 countries and her favorite destinations, thus far, are Iceland, Spain, Thailand and Jamaica. She is an avid entertainment enthusiast. Whether watching a film at her local movie theatre, streaming at home with her family or reading her latest novel, she loves to get lost in a great story.

Aaron Luahiwa

EVP, Operations

There is nothing more important to us than fulfilling our clients’ needs every day. Critical to that success is our operations function that includes over 500,000 square feet of warehouse space operating in cities throughout the United States.  With an extensive background in warehouse operations, trade compliance, client relations, data analytics, finance and logistics, Aaron leads Vision Media’s operations function. Aaron’s experience within the Vision Media ecosystem runs deep having begun his career with us as an Associate in our warehouse.

When not safeguarding our clients’ 52,000 pallets stored and active production of millions of client assets on a yearly basis, Aaron is spending time with his wife and 3 children hiking, off roading and enjoying the outdoors.

Michelle Dominguez

EVP, Awards & Compliance

Michelle Dominguez serves as Vision Media’s Executive Vice President of Awards & Compliance. As one of our longest standing employees celebrating over 20 years of service, Michelle has established her career within Vision Media as not only our in-house expert – but the leading industry expert on every business matter within the Vision Media umbrella. Her expertise and involvement with developing and orchestrating Vision Media’s high-profile Awards Division for 18 years offers us the ability to create a Compliance department to promote and strategically develop, safeguard and secure not only our business information but also our clients’. Michelle works with all Vision Media Executives in formulating, implementing and adherence to all company internal policies and procedures, client/vendor contracts and legal matters.

When Michelle is not working or studying, you will likely find her spending time with her daughter Mary, or as a season ticket holder cheering on our Los Angeles Dodgers.

Deana Thorup

VP, Human Resources

Deana Thorup brings strategic focus and tactical direction to Vision Media during a time of intense evolution in the workplace where culture and corporate values matter to our beloved employees.  Based on her belief that “culture creates performance,” she’s responsible for driving employee initiatives that promote communication, transparency and overall corporate performance.  With decades of experience as a human resources leader, change agent and executive coach, Deana works directly with Vision Media’s executives and employees on their professional development. To that end, Deana has introduced a comprehensive assessment and coaching tool that is aligning and propelling the careers of our leadership team in a powerful and dynamic way.

Deana is originally from Texas and loves going back home every chance she gets. She now lives in Overland Park, KS and enjoys reading, gardening and playing nana to her beautiful grandbabies.

Jon Selman

SVP, Strategy & Business Development

Spanning over a decade, Jon Selman’s career in the entertainment industry encompasses broad experience in account management, client relations, strategy, business development, and most particularly, awards campaigns for studios of all shapes and sizes.  As one of Vision Media’s resident experts in the awards space, clients turn to Jon as they ideate, create and execute on premium awards campaigns.  Our awards division is the largest in the industry – Jon and his team move millions of campaign-related assets through our walls and systems each season.  With a wild imagination and vast network, Jon is responsible for charting Vision Media’s strategic path for growth either by opening new channels or forging partnerships that strengthen and broaden our ability to bring our clients’ most important assets directly to their audiences.

When Jon is not dreaming about how to make Vision Media even bigger and better, he enjoys spending time with his twin daughters, Rylee and Zoe, and his wife, Lauren.

Eric Tabak

VP, Business Development

For the past thirty years, Eric Tabak has been a part of the entertainment industry in numerous roles. His days managing movie theatres for AMC and his Exhibitor Relations roles at DreamWorks, Paramount and The Weinstein Company provided the foundation for his current role as VP, Business Development at Vision Media.  Eric knows the entertainment space and Vision Media relies on this great depth and knowledge every day.  Once a client, Eric knows very well what the customers need and expect in level of service, knowledge and experience.

Eric originally joined Cinema Scene (prior to the acquisition by Vision Media) in late 2015 and continues to work closely with exhibitor clients bringing added value to the lobby and providing digital platforms for studios to promote their films.  Eric continues to develop strategies to grow our promotional platforms in-theatre while developing strategies for Vision Media to expand its market share across the dynamic entertainment space.

When Eric is not laser focused on his role at Vision Media, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters teaching them the ABC’s of life and also looking for the next best golf course to play.  He loves the movies, time with friends & family as well as travel.

Neely Schiefelbein

VP, Sales

Neely Schiefelbein leads Vision Media’s concessions business, which manufactures over 2 million concessions items on a yearly basis.  Neely’s career in the cinema industry spans over 15 years, having launched Vision Media’s (then CinemaScene) concessions business in 2005.  Among the many other roles Neely plays as a leader in the Vision Media enterprise, she manages the company’s longstanding exhibitor relationships and our theater channel.  Neely also serves as a thought leader and subject matter expert as a board member for the National Association of Concessionaires.

In her free time, Neely enjoys exploring all things living in Chicago has to offer, including a great restaurant scene.  Neely also loves being active whether it be Crossfit, Spin, or Orange Theory classes.  Most of all she loves snuggling with her 2 year old son and newborn baby girl.
