Vision Media helps raise awareness and funds at Variety Charity Night

Los Angeles, CA - July 28, 2022
10th Variety Charity Casino Night

Vision Media supported the 10th Annual Variety Charity Casino Night on July 27, 2022 as the event raised funds for children in need. Variety, the Children’s Charity of Southern California, has raised over $1 million to date with this event. Funds help to provide lifesaving support for disabled, abused, physically-challenged, and underprivileged children in Southern California.

This year’s event, held at Paramount Studios, was a wonderful opportunity for the entertainment industry to connect and raise awareness for a great cause, while raising funds with casino-style games. Kids were the true stars of the evening, as the focus was on removing existing barriers to mobility. The funds raised at the event helped to provide adaptive bikes to incredible children with diverse mobility needs in the community.

As part of Vision Media’s commitment to bigger and brighter futures for the next generation, we were delighted to be able to support such a heartwarming and life changing evening for families here in the Los Angeles area.

We’re proud to welcome Pauline Avendano as VP of Marketing and Neha Modi as Digital Content Manager, two seasoned marketing leaders with deep roots in the entertainment industry.

Pauline joins us from the Television Academy, where she led lifecycle marketing and brand strategy for more than 30,000 Academy members and oversaw member-facing digital properties, Screening Room Program, and engagement and retention initiatives. Throughout her 20+ year career spanning entertainment, consumer brands, and high-growth organizations, she has built and scaled global marketing initiatives that drive measurable growth, strengthen brand equity, and deepen customer loyalty. At Vision Media, Pauline will lead B2B marketing strategy and brand positioning, advancing the company’s continued expansion across the awards and guild landscape.

Neha also comes from the Television Academy, where she led social and digital communications across the Emmy Awards and FYC programs. During her tenure, she helped drive triple-digit growth in social engagement and produced red carpet, backstage, and live-stream content for the industry’s most visible moments. With additional experience across Nintendo, Activision, and major entertainment brands, she brings a deep understanding of audience engagement and industry storytelling. She will drive Vision’s content strategy across digital and print, strengthening how we show up during awards season and beyond.

Both Pauline and Neha are based in Los Angeles and embedded in the awards community. Their experience inside the Academy and across major entertainment brands reinforces Vision Media’s long-term commitment to serving studios, guilds, and industry partners at the highest level.

We’re investing in the people and expertise that move the industry forward.

Welcome to the team.
