Vision Media and GrayMatter Announce Technology Partnership to Enhance Secure Content Delivery for Rights-Managed Film and TV Distribution

Los Angeles, CA - November 10, 2025

Vision Media, the leading provider of secure screening and awards-distribution solutions, today announced a new technology partnership with GrayMatter, the software company behind the acclaimed iRights suite for film and television rights management.

The partnership unites two trusted names in entertainment technology: GrayMatter’s robust iRights system, used by studios, distributors, platforms, and sales agents worldwide to manage contracts, licenses, and rights lifecycles and Vision Media’s secure, cloud-based screening platform, trusted by studios, guilds, and festivals for digital content distribution and review.

Under this agreement, Vision Media will serve as a preferred technology partner, supporting GrayMatter’s customers with digital asset management, secure streaming, forensic watermarking, entitlement controls, and award-season distribution tools that complement GrayMatter’s iRights infrastructure.

“Our collaboration with GrayMatter brings together two platforms designed specifically for the film and television ecosystem,” said Jason Deadrich, CEO of Vision Media. “Their iRights system manages the business of rights and licensing with remarkable precision and now, their clients can securely deliver and showcase that content through Vision Media’s trusted screening environment.”

GrayMatter’s iRights suite provides a comprehensive, cloud-based solution for the lifecycle of rights management, including license administration, contract maintenance, financial tracking, and precise rights-collision testing. Designed from the ground up for the sales-agency and distribution business, it’s recognized for its natural-language contract logic, deep reporting, and integrated events system.

“Partnering with Vision Media allows our customers to bridge rights management and content delivery seamlessly,” said Glenn Barber, CEO of GrayMatter. “Together, we’re enabling rights owners to not only know what they control, but also share it securely with the world.”

The collaboration will be showcased during the American Film Market (AFM), where both companies will highlight new opportunities for studios, distributors, and rights holders to streamline how they manage, protect, and present content across the value chain.
