Digital Content Manager
United States - Remote
Vision Media, a leader in innovative digital solutions for the Media & Entertainment industry, seeks an experienced and results-oriented Digital Content Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this individual will be instrumental in developing and executing our content strategy across digital and print platforms to align with our company’s vision and resonate with our target audience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives, target audience and brand guidelines.
- Create and manage editorial calendar to deliver timely content across various digital platforms.
- Research industry trends, market insights and competitor analysis to inform content development and identify opportunities.
- Publish engaging and SEO-friendly content, including articles, blog posts, website copy, social media posts and email newsletters.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers and other stakeholders to oversee the content creation of visually appealing and multimedia-rich assets.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company’s style guide and voice across all content deliverables.
- Manage and maintain content repositories, including content management systems (CMS), and ensure content is organized and easily accessible for future use.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually.
Qualifications/Experience
- Knowledge of content marketing trends, audience segmentation and persona development.
- Experience in content strategy development and implementation.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
- Familiarity with content distribution and amplification strategies, including social media advertising and influencer marketing.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and web design best practices.
- Exceptional writing skills, strategic thinking and attention to detail, with a passion for content creation and a drive for innovation.
- Experience in the Media & Entertainment industry is highly preferred.
- Must be available during standard business hours in Pacific Standard Time.
