Sales Account Executive - SMB, Mid-Market

Vision Media is the leading video streaming platform for entertainment studios and filmmakers to showcase content to target audiences. Vision Media’s platform is trusted by studios, guilds, and industry experts for its flexibility, robust security features, and premium viewing experiences across all devices. We are seeking a Sales Account Executive to own new business revenue across our SMB and Mid-Market SaaS offerings. This role is focused exclusively on acquiring new customers and expanding Vision Digital’s footprint with small to mid-sized organizations in the media, entertainment, and creative industries.
This is a quota-carrying role responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from inbound lead qualification through close. The ideal candidate is comfortable selling a product-led SaaS solution with a consultative approach, short to moderate sales cycles, and a mix of self-serve and assisted sales motions. This role does not own renewals, ongoing account management, or customer support.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for SMB and Mid-Market prospects, from first conversion through close
- Close net-new SaaS revenue through a mix of inbound leads, product trials and targeted
outbound outreach - Qualify opportunities, run product demos, and recommend solutions aligned to customer needs
- Accurately forecast pipeline and bookings using HubSpot or similar CRM products
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoff after deals close
- Maintain a strong understanding of Vision Media’s products, pricing and competitive landscape
- Identify patterns in customer feedback to help inform product and go-to-market improvements
Qualifications/Experience
- 2-4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling to SMB or Mid-Market customers
- Proven track record of closing new business and hitting quotas
- Experience selling software via inbound leads, free trials, or product-led growth initiatives
- Comfortable managing multiple deals simultaneously
- Strong lead sourcing, demo and closing skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Experience selling into media, entertainment, creative, or technology-driven organizations is a
plus - Must be available during standard business hours in Pacific Standard Time.
